The Men's and Women's Closed-Toe Post-Operative Shoe, offered in sizes 9-11 for men and 13+ for women, embodies nearly perfect 4-season protection. Its closed-toe design keeps dressings and toes warm and dry, ensuring unparalleled versatility by accommodating both bulky dressings and most fiberglass casts.
The shoe's rocker sole and square toe design act as a bumper to protect the toes, while the ankle strap seats the foot firmly in the shoe, reducing heel slippage and eliminating friction. The removable forefoot closure allows for easy on and off, and the zoned outsole features an aggressive tread under the mid-foot where traction is needed most.
The removable insole boasts twice the padding of standard insoles and can be modified as needed. It can also be entirely removed to accommodate DARCO's innovative Peg Assist customizable off-loading insole. The unique Metatarsal Shank under the MP joints increases support and rigidity under the forefoot, providing additional comfort and stability.
